Since I took prenatal yoga classes with you, I decided I'd try mommy and me class and it was the best decision I made. Due to wrong postures while holding the baby, my knees and back were always sore. Mommy and me yoga was extremely helpful. The classes were a perfect opportunity to bond with my baby while strengthening my body. I felt comfortable during each and every class as I could nurse, change diapers and calm my baby if needed. Today Liam and I "graduated" out of mommy and me yoga. Mimi was my prenatal yoga instructor starting at 13 weeks pregnant. She (along with a few other wonderful women) helped teach me how amazing the body is and empowered me, through exercise and mental support to work towards the natural and unmedicated birth that I wanted.
After I had Liam, she came to my house to teach me baby massage so that I could help Liam adjust to life out of the womb and get his bodily systems working well!
Then we started mommy and me yoga with her!! For the past 5 months Liam and I have been going once a week and using that time to bond, play, sing songs, and get a little exercise!
Mimi is such a treasure! She is so caring and inspiring! My pregnancy, birth, and post-partum would have been so different without her!!
